Jukr (“we”, “us”) is a free daily baseball guessing game at playjukr.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We keep it simple because we have nothing to hide.
What we collect
Anonymous gameplay data. When you play, we store your guess results, solve count, and streak — tied to an anonymous session ID, not your name or identity. No account is required to play.
Email address (optional). If you choose to create an account to protect your streak, we store your email address. We use it only to send game-related emails (welcome, streak milestones, win-back). You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.
Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the game is played — which features are used, where players drop off, aggregate solve rates. This data is anonymized and never tied to your identity.
Push notification token (optional). If you opt in to push notifications via OneSignal, we store a browser token to send you reminders (max 2 per week). You can opt out in your browser settings at any time.
Cookies. We use session cookies for authentication and preference storage (e.g., game state). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.
We do not serve ads or allow advertisers to target you.
We do not track you across other websites.
We do not collect payment information (the game is free).
Third-party services
Jukr uses the following services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
- PostHog — anonymous usage analytics (posthog.com/privacy)
- Brevo — transactional email delivery (brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy)
- OneSignal — push notifications, opt-in only (onesignal.com/privacy)
- Vercel — website hosting (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at hello@playjukr.com. We will delete your data within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and port your data. Contact us at the email above.
Data retention
Anonymous game results are retained indefinitely for leaderboard and statistics purposes. If you delete your account, your results are anonymized rather than deleted so aggregate stats remain accurate.
Children
Jukr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Jukr after changes means you accept the updated policy.
